The Silvine Shorthand Notepad is an ideal choice for students, journalists, and professionals who require a reliable and portable solution for rapid note-taking on the move. Featuring 160 pages of FSC-certified 60gsm paper, this notebook provides a balance of environmental responsibility and utility, though its lightweight paper thickness means it is best suited for standard ballpoint pens rather than heavy fountain pen inks.

Yes, the paper is FSC-certified and recyclable. We recommend removing the wire binding before placing the paper in your recycling bin.
Feint ruled refers to the light horizontal lines printed on the page to help guide your writing and keep it straight.
Because the paper is 60gsm, it is quite thin. Fountain pen ink may feather or bleed through the page; ballpoints are recommended.
This product is supplied as a pack of 10 individual notebooks.
The wire binding allows the notebook to lie completely flat when open, making it easier to write on both sides of the page comfortably.
Yes, the pages are perforated, which allows for clean, straight removal without damaging the binding.
Avoid bending the notebook backwards at the perforation line when flipping pages to keep the seam intact.
Use a ballpoint pen instead of a heavy-flow fountain pen to prevent ink saturation on the 60gsm paper.
Store the notebook in a dedicated sleeve or flat folder when kept inside a crowded bag.
There is no complex setup required for the Silvine Shorthand Notepad; simply peel off the protective packaging and start writing. Regarding compatibility, this notebook works seamlessly with ballpoint pens, graphite pencils, and standard rollerball pens. To maintain the integrity of your notes, keep the notebooks in a dry environment to prevent moisture damage to the paper. While the notebooks are durable enough for daily use, avoid carrying them in bags with sharp objects that could pierce or tear the covers or the wire binding. When you reach the end of a pad, the wire binding can be recycled at many local facilities, though it is recommended to separate the metal spine from the paper content first.
