Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup & First Use
Before first use, wash the pans thoroughly with warm, soapy water and a soft sponge. Rinse and dry completely. While not strictly necessary due to the advanced non-stick coating, a light 'seasoning' by rubbing a small amount of cooking oil over the non-stick surface and gently heating for a minute, then wiping clean, can further enhance its longevity and performance.
Compatibility
- Hob Types: Fully compatible with all hob types including induction, gas, halogen, radiant ring, solid plate, and ceramic. The robust stainless steel base ensures optimal performance on induction cooktops.
- Oven Use: These pans are oven safe up to 180°C (350°F / Gas Mark 4). Do not exceed this temperature to preserve the non-stick coating and handle integrity.
Care & Maintenance
- Cleaning: The pans are dishwasher safe for convenience. However, handwashing with warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge is recommended to extend the life of the non-stick coating and maintain the exterior finish. Avoid steel wool, scouring pads, or harsh abrasive cleaners.
- Utensils: To protect the triple-layer non-stick surface, always use wooden, silicone, or plastic utensils. Metal utensils, even if used carefully, can scratch and degrade the coating over time.
- Storage: When stacking pans, place a soft cloth or pan protector between them to prevent scratches to the non-stick surface and exterior finish.
- Heat Management: Avoid extreme temperature changes, such as placing a hot pan directly under cold water, as this can cause warping or damage to the pan. Always allow pans to cool before cleaning.
