The Gardening Naturally Aphid Predator Attractant is designed for organic gardeners, fruit growers, and greenhouse owners who want to control aphid populations without harsh synthetic sprays. By utilizing a specialized scent blend that mimics the natural distress signals of plants, this attractant draws beneficial predators—such as lacewings, hoverflies, and parasitic wasps—directly to your garden to neutralize pests naturally. While it offers a highly effective, chemical-free pest management solution, its success is dependent on early-season application and local environmental conditions, meaning it may not provide immediate relief in the middle of a severe, pre-existing infestation.

For the best results, start using the sachets in March or April before aphid populations become established.
Yes, the attractant is perfectly safe and effective for use in greenhouses.
Yes, it is a non-toxic, chemical-free product, making it ideal for organic vegetable and fruit gardening.
Each 3ml sachet provides a consistent scent release for approximately six weeks, depending on the weather.
Keep them in their original packaging in a cool, dark place below 15°C.
It targets lacewings, hoverflies, anthocorid bugs, and parasitic wasps.
Ensure the sachet was hung early enough in the season and verify that there are no nearby chemical pesticides disrupting the local insect population.
High temperatures and strong wind can accelerate evaporation; try moving the sachet to a more sheltered, shaded area of the plant.
To begin, remove the sachet from its packaging and use the provided tie to secure it to a sturdy stem or branch near the aphid-prone area. Keep the sachet out of direct, intense sunlight to prevent premature evaporation. Regarding storage, the attractant has a shelf life of up to 24 months provided it remains in the original sealed packaging and is stored in a cool place, ideally below 15°C. Avoid cross-contamination by keeping it away from food items during storage. Do not spray chemical insecticides in the immediate vicinity of the sachet, as this will repel the very insects you are trying to attract and defeat the purpose of the biological control method.
