Setup, Compatibility & Care
Installation requires standard hex keys and basic mechanical knowledge. The kit is compatible with any bike featuring a 1 1/8 inch top steerer tube.
- Ensure your steerer tube is cut to the correct length leaving 2-3mm of clearance below the top of the stem.
- Select your desired spacer combination to reach the necessary height.
- Install the stem cap, using the included long bolt.
- Apply a light layer of grease to the threads of the stem cap bolt to prevent seizing.
- Tighten the stem cap bolt to 2-3 Nm.
- For the water bottle cage bolts, hand-tighten until secure, ensuring you do not over-torque these, as they are for light-duty bottle cage retention only.
