Troubleshooting
Child is struggling to understand an instruction.
Re-read the step aloud, demonstrate the action slowly, or seek adult assistance to clarify the process.
Magic trick is not working as expected.
Ensure all steps are followed precisely as written in the instructions. Practice the sleight of hand or manipulation required for the trick multiple times.
Prop seems broken or not functioning.
Examine the prop for any visible damage. For the levitating wand, ensure it is being held correctly and the illusion is being performed at the correct angle, as intended by the trick's mechanics.
Child is losing interest.
Focus on the easier, more impactful tricks first to build confidence. Alternate between practicing and performing. Encourage creativity in how they present the tricks.
