Setup, Compatibility & Care
To set up the Halo Universal Cage, first attach your camera base plate to the bottom of the unit. Ensure the 15mm LWS rod bracket is aligned with your lens axis, which may require the addition of a height-adjustable riser plate depending on your specific camera model. Once centered, tighten all screws firmly.
For care and maintenance, keep the NATO rails clean of debris to ensure the safety pins function correctly. Since the cage is made of anodized aluminum, it is resistant to most environmental conditions, but you should wipe it down with a dry microfiber cloth if exposed to salt spray or moisture. Check the tension screws on the rod bracket periodically to ensure they remain snug during transport.
