Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Setting the Time: Pull the crown out to the second click. Rotate the crown to set the hours and minutes. Push the crown back in to start the watch.
- Setting the Day and Date: Pull the crown out to the first click. Rotate the crown to set the date. To set the day, you may need to advance the time past midnight and then set the date again. Be sure to set the day and date when the hour hand is between 6 PM and 6 AM to avoid interfering with the automatic change.
Compatibility:
This is a traditional analog watch and does not interface with other devices. Its compatibility is purely aesthetic and functional as a timepiece.
Care:
- Cleaning: Wipe the case and crystal gently with a soft, dry cloth. For the leather strap, use a slightly damp cloth and allow it to air dry completely. Avoid harsh chemicals or soaking the strap.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place when not in use. Consider using a watch case or box to protect it from dust and scratches.
- Battery: The quartz movement is powered by a battery. When the battery life is nearing its end, the second hand may start ticking in two-second intervals. Consult a professional watchmaker for battery replacement.
