Full details
The Bravich Cambridge Chesterfield Armchair is an ideal choice for homeowners and interior design enthusiasts looking to add a touch of classic sophistication to their living rooms, bedrooms, or studies. Its primary benefit is the blend of timeless aesthetic appeal—featuring traditional deep-buttoning and gold stud detailing—with the practical comfort of high-density foam seating. While this armchair offers a premium look and solid build quality, potential buyers should note that its velvet-style plush fabric requires regular care and occasional vacuuming to maintain its vibrant blue appearance and texture.

FAQs
Is the seat cushion removable?
The seat cushion is designed to be stable for comfort, though it may be removable depending on the specific model configuration.
What is the material of the upholstery?
The armchair features a high-quality, durable plush fabric in a rich blue hue.
Can this chair be used in a commercial space?
While durable, this chair is designed primarily for residential use in living rooms, bedrooms, and home offices.
How do I assemble the chair?
Assembly typically involves attaching the wooden feet to the base of the chair; no complex tools are usually required.
Is the fabric easy to clean?
The fabric is durable but requires regular vacuuming. Blot spills immediately rather than scrubbing.
Does the chair come in other colors?
This specific model is finished in a vibrant blue colour family.
Troubleshooting
The chair wobbles on the floor
Check that all feet are screwed in tightly and evenly; use felt pads or a rug to compensate for uneven flooring.
Fabric appears crushed or flattened
Use a soft-bristled upholstery brush to gently lift the fibers of the fabric in the opposite direction of the crush.
Dust collecting in the deep buttons
Use a vacuum cleaner with a nozzle attachment on a low suction setting to gently clear debris from the buttoned tufts.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Elegant and timeless aesthetic suits both modern and traditional decor
- High-density foam provides excellent, supportive comfort
- Sturdy wooden construction offers long-term durability
- Sophisticated gold stud detailing adds a premium finish
Cons
- Plush fabric requires consistent cleaning to avoid dust accumulation
- Design is relatively bulky, requiring adequate space in smaller rooms
- Fixed back cushions mean the covers are not removable for machine washing
Setup, Compatibility & Care
Upon delivery, ensure the armchair is placed in a level position to avoid stressing the wooden frame. The chair arrives largely pre-assembled, though you may need to attach the feet if they are shipped separately.
For maintenance, use a soft brush attachment on your vacuum to remove dust from the crevices between the buttons. Avoid placing the chair in direct, harsh sunlight, as the blue fabric may fade over time. For liquid spills, blot the area immediately with a clean, dry, white cloth—do not rub, as this can damage the pile of the fabric. Use a gentle upholstery cleaner specifically designed for plush or velvet fabrics if a deeper clean is required.
