Product Information

Full details

The Nash Titan T2 Overwrap is an essential upgrade for serious anglers using the Titan T2 bivvy, specifically designed to provide superior insulation and expanded storage in harsh weather conditions. By creating an air gap between the bivvy and the wrap, it effectively eliminates condensation while offering extra room for gear like waders and boots. While it significantly improves long-session comfort, users should note that it increases the total setup time and adds 4.6kg to their overall carry weight.

FAQs

Can I use the T2 Overwrap on a T1 model?

No, the T2 Overwrap is specifically tailored to the dimensions and frame of the Titan T2 bivvy.

Does this wrap come with a groundsheet?

The overwrap is designed to fit over your existing bivvy and does not include a separate groundsheet.

How heavy is the overwrap?

The total weight of the Nash Titan T2 Overwrap is 4.6kg.

Are the PVC panels removable?

The door panels are integrated and can be rolled back and secured using the built-in elastic tie-backs.

Is the material breathable?

The 10,000mm hydrostatic head nylon is designed for high-performance waterproofing; however, the double-layer design is the primary method for managing airflow and condensation.

What should I do if the fabric gets a tear?

Small tears can often be repaired with a high-quality, waterproof nylon repair patch specifically designed for bivvy materials.

Troubleshooting

Excessive movement in high winds

Ensure all tension straps are tightened and the overwrap is pegged correctly at every base point.

Door zipper sticking

Clean the zipper teeth with a soft brush to remove grit and check for any fabric caught in the mechanism.

Water pooling on the roof

Re-adjust the tensioning of the overwrap to ensure there is no sagging and water can shed efficiently.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup:

Ensure your Nash Titan T2 Bivvy is correctly erected and pegged.
Drape the overwrap over the bivvy structure, ensuring the door alignments match.
Secure the base points using the provided Nash T-pegs, working from the rear towards the front to ensure even tension.
Adjust the side tension straps to remove any slack.

Compatibility:

This product is specifically engineered for the Nash Titan T2 bivvy (MPN: T4223). It is not compatible with other Titan models or different brand bivvies due to the specific frame geometry.

Care:

Always ensure the wrap is completely dry before packing it into the carry bag to prevent mold or fabric degradation.
Clean off mud or debris using a soft sponge and cold water. Avoid detergents, as these can strip the waterproof coating.
Regularly check and tighten the pegging points to maintain fabric integrity during high winds.
