The Salomon XT-Whisper, a modern take on a trail racing classic, is designed for those seeking a stylish and functional shoe for urban and light trail use. It offers a comfortable fit with its unique Sensifit™ application and Quicklace system, providing reliable grip and support. Keep in mind that while it's versatile, it's best suited for lighter terrains and urban environments rather than heavy-duty trail running.

Slide the toggle up to tighten the laces, and pull down on the toggle to loosen them. When you are happy with the fit, push the toggle down to lock it in place.
While the XT-Whisper can handle light trails, it is better suited for urban use and well-maintained paths. For serious trail running, a more specialized shoe with extra features may be preferred.
Use a soft brush and mild soap to clean the upper. Rinse with water and let the shoes air dry away from direct heat.
The XT-Whisper has a mesh upper and is not fully waterproof. It provides some water resistance but is not designed for heavy rain or wet conditions.
You can wear various socks with the XT-Whisper. Depending on the weather conditions or activity level, consider breathable athletic socks or thicker socks for additional support.
The lifespan of the outsole depends on usage and the type of terrain. Regular use on abrasive surfaces can accelerate wear. Inspect the outsole regularly for any signs of excessive wear.
Yes, the OrthoLite® sockliner can be replaced if it wears out or if you prefer a different type of insole.
Salomon offers a warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Check Salomon's website for specific warranty details.
Adjust the toggle on the Quicklace system to achieve the desired fit. Make sure the laces are evenly distributed along the foot.
Ensure the Quicklace system is properly tightened. Consider using a thicker sock for added support if needed.
Clean the shoes regularly with a soft brush and mild soap. Consider using a protectant spray for the upper material.
Setting up the XT-Whisper is straightforward. Simply thread the Quicklace through the eyelets, and adjust the toggle for the desired fit. The shoe is designed to be compatible with most types of socks.
To care for your Salomon XT-Whisper, clean the mesh upper with a soft brush and mild soap. Avoid harsh chemicals or excessive scrubbing. Allow the shoes to air dry naturally, away from direct sunlight or heat. The OrthoLite® sockliner can be removed and cleaned separately.
