Troubleshooting
Chair will not stay at the desired height
Ensure the gas lift is fully seated into the base and the seat mechanism. If it continues to sink, the gas cylinder may require replacement.
Backrest feels too loose or too stiff
The chair uses auto-weight tension. Ensure you are sitting fully back in the seat to engage the mechanism properly. If it remains uncomfortable, check that the tilt lock is in the correct position.
Pros and Cons

- Automated weight tension control reduces setup time
- Certified for health and environmental safety
- Ideal height range for drafting and standing desk setups
Cons
- Not intended for use with standard-height computer desks
- Foam and fabric components limited to a 2-year warranty
- White finish requires regular cleaning to maintain appearance
Setup, Compatibility & Care
Assembly of the Cosmo Hi-Rise chair follows standard office chair protocols, typically requiring the insertion of the gas lift into the base and attaching the seat mechanism. Ensure the chair is placed on a level floor to maintain the stability of the high-rise frame. For compatibility, verify that your desk height is at least 35 inches or higher to allow adequate leg clearance. To care for the chair, wipe down the recycled plastic surfaces with a damp, non-abrasive cloth. Since the chair is white, avoid placing it near dark-dyed clothing or materials that may transfer color. For the fabric, use a mild upholstery cleaner periodically to prevent dust buildup and staining.
