Design a lampshade to match your upholstery, curtains, wallpaper or any room theme with this Needcraft 30cm Oval Lampshade Making Kit. This kit allows you to create a professional-looking 30cm oval lampshade using your chosen fabric. It can be used as a pendant light for ceilings or with a table lamp. The kit is easy to use: simply laminate your fabric to the self-adhesive panel and follow the step-by-step instructions. Your fabric needs to be 872mm wide x 246mm. The frame is designed to fit European lamp holders, and a converter/reducer adaptor plug is included to fit UK lamp holders. The kit includes: 1 x Oval epoxy-coated ring, 1 x Oval epoxy-coated ring with fitting, 1 x Self-adhesive lampshade panel (857mm x 230mm with 15mm kiss cuts), 1 x 3m roll of self-adhesive tape, and 1 x Rolled edge tool for finishing. The assembled lampshade measures 30cm in diameter and 20cm in height. The lining colour is white. We recommend using low-energy, cool-to-the-touch bulbs to prevent scorching. The materials have passed the glow wire test conducted by the Lighting Association. The packaging is a cardboard box measuring 33cm x 33cm x 5cm. An optional diffuser can be added to sit under the shade when used as a pendant, covering the bulb and diffusing the light.
