They provide a protective layer for plates, but they are not designed to withstand hot pots or pans directly from the oven or stovetop.
It is recommended to follow spot-cleaning instructions to preserve the color and texture of the print; avoid machine washing unless explicitly stated on the product care tag.
They are perfectly sized to accommodate standard dinner plates, offering a balanced aesthetic for your table setting.
These are designed for indoor use to maintain the quality and longevity of the material.
Please check your specific package quantity; these are sold as part of the Ulster Weavers 12 Days of Christmas collection.
Gently blot the area with a damp cloth using mild soap. Avoid rubbing vigorously, which can damage the fabric fibers.
Lay the placemat flat on a clean table and place heavy books on the corners for a few hours to help the fabric relax back into its original shape.
Setting up your table is straightforward: simply lay the placemats flat on your dining surface with the print facing upward. Ensure the table surface is dry before placing the mats down to prevent moisture buildup underneath. To maintain the quality of the Ulster Weavers material, we recommend spot-cleaning any spills immediately with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid submerging the mats in water or using harsh chemical cleaners, as this may damage the fabric and fade the intricate Christmas print. When the holiday season ends, store them flat or loosely rolled in a dry, cool environment to prevent creasing.
