FAQs

Can I wear this necklace in the shower or pool?

It is not recommended to wear the necklace in water. Moisture and chemicals like chlorine can damage the gold-tone plating and the adhesive holding the crystals.

How do I adjust the length?

The necklace includes an extender chain; simply attach the lobster clasp to any of the links on the extender to reach your desired length.

What is the primary material of the necklace?

The necklace is a fashion jewelry piece featuring a gold-tone finish, cubic zirconia stones, and a central synthetic gemstone.

Is this suitable for everyday wear?

Yes, it can be worn daily, but it is considered a delicate piece. It should be removed during physical activities or sleeping to protect the chain.

How should I store the necklace?

Store it in a cool, dry place, ideally in its original packaging or an individual jewelry pouch to prevent oxidation and tangling.

Troubleshooting

Clasp is difficult to operate

Check the lobster clasp for any trapped debris or lint and ensure the spring mechanism is clear of dust.

Chain is tangled

Lay the necklace flat on a soft surface and use a fine needle or toothpick to gently tease out the knot without pulling on the links.

Crystals look dull

Gently buff the surface of the stones and the metal settings with a clean, dry microfiber cloth to restore their original shine.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Distinctive design that complements both casual and formal attire
High-quality construction with signature brand aesthetic
Adjustable length provides versatile styling options
Sparkling embellishments add an elegant touch to any outfit

Cons

Fine chain requires gentle handling to avoid damage
Cubic zirconia and faceted stone may require periodic cleaning to maintain luster
Not suitable for individuals with specific metal sensitivities to base fashion jewelry

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure the longevity of your Vivienne Westwood necklace, fasten the lobster clasp with clean, dry hands. Always put the necklace on after applying makeup, perfume, or hairspray, as chemicals can dull the gold-tone finish and the luster of the cubic zirconia. To clean the piece, use a soft, lint-free cloth to gently wipe away skin oils or debris. When not in use, store the necklace in a dedicated jewelry box or a soft pouch to prevent the fine chain from knotting or becoming scratched by other items.
