Drum Storage Racking - Heavy Duty Steel - Holds 2 x 205L Drums - Stackable

The product information does not specify a maximum weight capacity per drum, but it is designed for standard 205-liter drums which typically hold up to 200-250kg each depending on the liquid density. Always ensure the total load is appropriate for heavy-duty steel construction.

This racking is specifically designed for standard 205-liter drums. It may not securely hold drums of significantly different diameters or lengths.

The product description states it is 'stackable' for efficient use of workspace. While not specifying a limit, it's generally recommended to stack no more than 2-3 units high for stability, depending on the environment and drum contents. Always assess stability.

The racking is manufactured from high-quality, heavy-duty steel.

The dimensions of one racking unit are 1145mm in length, 760mm in width, and 325mm in height.

While made of durable steel, prolonged exposure to outdoor elements may lead to corrosion. It is best suited for indoor industrial or workshop environments. If used outdoors, consider protective measures against moisture.

The net weight of a single racking unit is 17.14kg.

Ensure the racking is placed on a level and solid floor. Verify that stacked units are properly interlocked and that the total weight does not exceed the recommended capacity. Check for any visible damage to the steel.

Confirm that you are using standard 205-liter drums. Ensure the racking itself is level and that the drums are correctly positioned within the cradles. Check for any obstructions or damage on the racking that might prevent a secure fit.

Clean the affected area with a soft brush and mild soap. Dry thoroughly. For minor surface rust, a rust converter followed by a suitable metal paint can be applied. For significant corrosion, consult the manufacturer or consider replacement.

Ensure there is no debris or damage on the stacking points of both units. Check that the lower unit is perfectly level. With assistance, carefully align the upper unit's stacking features with those on the lower unit.
