Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Ensure walls are clean, dry, and sound. Fill any cracks or imperfections and sand smooth. Apply a suitable wallpaper primer if walls are highly absorbent. Use a high-quality, ready-mixed or powder adhesive specifically designed for paste-the-wall wallpapers. Apply the adhesive evenly to the wall in manageable sections corresponding to the width of the wallpaper. Hang the paper directly onto the pasted wall, smoothing from the center outwards to remove air bubbles. Trim excess at the ceiling and skirting with a sharp knife and straight edge.
Compatibility: This wallpaper is suitable for most interior walls, including plaster, drywall, and previously wallpapered surfaces (ensure old wallpaper is sound and well-adhered). It is generally suitable for hallways, living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, and kitchens. However, avoid direct contact with high moisture areas such as directly above a shower or in a steamy bathroom without adequate ventilation.
Care: To clean, use a slightly damp cloth to gently wipe away any marks. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the design and texture. For stubborn marks, a very mild soap solution can be used sparingly, followed by a clean damp cloth. Ensure adequate ventilation in rooms where the wallpaper is applied, especially kitchens, to maintain its condition.
