The AB Tools 73mm Van Garage Shed Door Security Padlock Hasp Set is designed for property owners and fleet managers who require robust, tamper-resistant security for vans, sheds, or industrial storage units. Its standout benefit is the fully enclosed shackle design which significantly limits exposure to bolt cutters and saws, though users should note that the installation process requires drilling, making it a permanent security upgrade rather than a temporary solution.

Yes, the keys can typically be duplicated by a professional locksmith if needed.
It is chrome-plated for corrosion resistance, but we recommend occasional maintenance to ensure longevity in harsh weather.
The set includes the 2-part hasp and the padlock; please ensure you use appropriate bolts for your specific door material (wood vs. metal).
The set is universal, but it requires a flat mounting surface. Ensure your van door profile allows for flush mounting.
Yes, the padlock is a standalone unit that locks into the hasp, allowing you to remove it when the door is in use.
Clear any debris from the keyway and apply a small amount of graphite or dry lubricant to the cylinder.
Use masking tape to hold the hasp in the desired position while marking your pilot holes to ensure accuracy.
To install this set, ensure the surface area on your door and frame is flat and capable of supporting through-bolts. Align the hasp components while the padlock is inside to ensure the alignment is perfect before drilling your mounting holes. For long-term reliability, it is recommended to apply a dry silicone-based lubricant into the keyway twice a year to maintain smooth cylinder movement, especially if the lock is exposed to salt air or constant rain.
