FAQs
Are these pencils refillable?
No, these are standard wooden pencils and are not refillable once the lead is used up.
What is the lead hardness?
These pencils come with standard HB-equivalent graphite suitable for general writing.
Can I use these for professional art projects?
While they can be used for casual sketching, they are intended primarily for writing and note-taking rather than professional drafting.
Are the pencils pre-sharpened?
The set typically arrives unsharpened, allowing you to sharpen them to your preferred point length.
Is the ink on the pencils waterproof?
The printed phrases are durable, but they are not intended to be submerged in water or exposed to heavy solvents.
Troubleshooting
Lead breaks frequently during sharpening
Ensure the sharpener blade is sharp; a dull blade will cause the wood to chew and the lead to snap.
The printed text is fading
Avoid storing the pencils loose in a bag with keys or other hard objects that may scratch the barrel.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Distinctive and fun aesthetic
- Great for gifting due to presentation packaging
- High-quality print on pencil barrels
- Standard graphite suitable for daily use
Cons
- Standard lead hardness only
- Not intended for professional fine-art rendering
- Black finish may show scratches over time
Setup, Compatibility & Care
These pencils are ready to use immediately out of the packaging. They are compatible with all standard pencil sharpeners, whether manual or electric. To maintain the integrity of the mystical phrases, store the pencils in a pencil case to avoid excessive friction against other metal objects. If the lead breaks during use, sharpen using a sharp blade to prevent the wood casing from splintering.
