Setup, Compatibility & Care
When working with this high-weight satin, use a sharp, fresh needle (typically a Universal 80/12 or 90/14) to prevent snags and ensure clean stitch lines. Because the fabric is non-stretch, it is highly recommended to stay-stitch curved edges immediately after cutting to prevent warping. For ironing, use a low to medium heat setting with a pressing cloth to protect the refined sheen. Avoid high steam directly on the fabric surface to prevent water spotting. For finished garments, professional dry cleaning is recommended to maintain the crisp structure and prevent the subtle luster from dulling over time.
