Prepare sizzling stir-fry dishes with the Tower Smart Start Ultra Forged Aluminium Wok. Crafted from 4.5mm forged aluminium, it offers excellent heat conductivity and a lightweight design for rapid heat-up and easy manoeuvrability. The innovative Aeroglide non-stick coating features a durable base layer with abrasion-resistant layers, making the six-layer coating fifteen times stronger than standard non-stick. This wok boasts an Inducto bonded steel base with bonded base channels for even heat distribution, preventing hotspots. Its riveted steel handle ensures comfort and easy handling. The 28cm wok is oven-safe up to 220 degrees Celsius and includes SmartStart technology with a built-in temperature sensor that activates at 150 degrees Celsius. Simply place the wok on heat and wait for the SmartStart tick to turn dark red at 200 degrees Celsius to begin cooking. All SmartStart pans are free from harmful chemicals like PFOA, lead, and cadmium. The ultra non-stick coating is abrasion-resistant, allowing the use of metal utensils without damage. The Inducto base heats up 25% faster than standard induction bases, and it's suitable for all hob types, including induction. While dishwasher friendly, hand-washing is recommended.
