Setup, Compatibility & Care
Preparation: Ensure the wooden surface is clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, and old finishes. Bare wood is ideal for optimal penetration and adhesion. If applying over an existing finish, test compatibility in an inconspicuous area first.
Application: Apply thinly and evenly with a brush, roller, or lint-free cloth. Work the oil into the wood grain.
Drying: Allow 4-8 hours between coats for the oil to dry. Ensure good ventilation during application and drying.
Coats: Apply 2-3 coats for best results, or more on very dry wood.
Compatibility: Suitable for all types of interior wooden floors, including solid wood, engineered wood, parquet, and woodblock. Not recommended for exterior use or for surfaces with existing film-forming finishes unless specifically prepared.
Care: Clean spills immediately. For routine cleaning, use a damp mop and a pH-neutral cleaner. Avoid abrasive cleaners or excessive water. Periodically re-oil high-traffic areas as needed to maintain protection and appearance.
