This guide is for parents and children using the VTech KidiZoom PrintCam. The PrintCam lets kids take photos and instantly print them in black and white, fostering creativity and fun. A note of caution: the camera requires thermal paper, which is included, but additional rolls need to be purchased separately.

Take a photo and select the print option in the menu. The camera will print the photo onto thermal paper.
The KidiZoom PrintCam uses thermal paper rolls.
Connect the camera to your computer using the included micro-USB cable. The camera will appear as a storage device, and you can copy photos and videos.
No, the camera is designed to use only the specific thermal paper rolls that are compatible with the device.
Use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe the lens. Avoid using liquid cleaners.
Please refer to the product packaging or VTech's website for warranty information.
Go to the Parent Settings/Settings menu on the device and configure the time limits as desired.
Ensure the camera is charged and the power button is fully pressed.
Check that thermal paper is loaded correctly and that the paper roll is not empty. Also, ensure that the print head is clean.
Make sure the lens is clean and the subject is in focus. Hold the camera steady when taking photos.
Try turning the camera off and on. If the problem persists, reset the camera (consult the manual for reset instructions).
Parental Controls: VTech tablets and handheld devices include Time Limit controls which can be used to set the amount of time your child is allowed to play on the device or to mark certain areas of the day as off limits. This feature can be found in the Parent Settings/Settings menu and we recommend this is used.
