Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Surface Preparation: Ensure the surface is level and suitable for the anchors provided (solid concrete).
- Hole Drilling: Drill holes into the concrete, ensuring they are not more than 1mm larger than the anchors' diameter.
- Anchor Insertion: Insert the anchors into the drilled holes.
- Bollard Placement: Align the bollard base with the anchor points and secure it using the provided fittings.
- Locking: Test the cylinder lock to ensure it engages properly.
For asphalt or softer bases, you'll need to source suitable anchors.
Compatibility
The bollard is compatible with solid concrete surfaces. For other surfaces, you must source compatible anchors.
Care
- Regularly inspect the bollard for signs of wear and tear.
- Clean the bollard with mild soap and water to maintain its appearance.
- Ensure the lock mechanism is lubricated periodically to prevent corrosion and maintain smooth operation.
