Due to the delicate nature of silk, professional dry cleaning is the only recommended method to ensure longevity.
The blouse is designed to have an oversized fit. If you prefer a more tailored look, you may want to consider sizing down.
Hang it on a padded hanger in a cool, dark, and dry place to prevent wrinkling and sun damage.
Direct ironing is not recommended as it can damage the silk. Use a steamer instead.
It is a tonal embroidery, meaning the logo matches the red color of the fabric, providing a subtle and elegant finish.
Use a handheld garment steamer at a low setting, keeping the nozzle several inches away from the fabric, or have it professionally pressed.
Ensure the fabric is flat before tying; you can gently steam the tie separately to remove creases before styling.
Because the fit is oversized, ensure the blouse is pulled correctly across the torso; if it still gaps, verify you are wearing the correct size relative to your frame.
To maintain the integrity of the silk fabric, professional dry cleaning is highly recommended. Avoid machine washing or harsh detergents which can break down the natural fibers and dull the colour. When storing, ensure the garment is hung on a wide, padded hanger to maintain the shape of the shoulders and collar. Keep the piece away from direct sunlight to prevent potential fading of the red hue. The blouse pairs exceptionally well with dark-wash denim for an elevated casual look or high-waisted black slacks for a classic, monochromatic professional aesthetic.
