This Crystal GRP composite front door is ideal for homeowners seeking enhanced security, excellent thermal efficiency, and a durable, low-maintenance entrance. Its key benefit is the integrated high-security locking system that works with the discreet Kubu intelligent alerting system, providing peace of mind. A potential caveat is that the installation might require professional fitting due to its integrated systems and specific dimensions.

GRP stands for Glass Reinforced Plastic. It's a composite material known for its strength, durability, and resistance to weathering.
The door is designed to work with the Kubu system and includes the high-security locking mechanism. However, the Kubu smart sensors themselves need to be purchased separately and configured according to Kubu's instructions.
The U-value of this door is 1.2 W/m²K, indicating good thermal performance and efficiency.
The handing is determined when viewing the door from the outside. A right-hand opening door will have its hinges on the right side and the handle on the left.
The specified dimensions are 920mm wide by 2090mm high, and this overall height measurement includes the PVC cill.
The door features a 70mm frame depth and includes a low-profile aluminium threshold and a PVC cill.
The product comes with a 10-year guarantee.
Check for obstructions around the frame or lock. Ensure the door is properly aligned within the frame. The threshold or cill may need adjustment.
Verify the sensor is correctly paired with the Kubu hub and app. Check battery levels in the sensor. Ensure the sensor is securely mounted according to Kubu guidelines.
Inspect the weather seals for damage or wear. Ensure the door is closing tightly against the seals. Professional adjustment of the door or seals may be required.
Use a mild soap and damp cloth for cleaning. For stubborn marks, a non-abrasive household cleaner may be suitable, but test in an inconspicuous area first.
Setup: The door is supplied with the frame, handle, lock, low aluminium threshold, and PVC cill. Professional installation is recommended to ensure correct fitting, optimal security system functionality, and to maintain the integrity of the weather seals and thermal efficiency. The 'right-hand open' configuration is determined when viewed from the exterior.
Compatibility: This door is designed to work with the Kubu intelligent alerting system. Ensure your chosen Kubu sensors are compatible and follow their specific setup instructions. The door dimensions are 920mm (width) x 2090mm (height, including cill). Verify these measurements against your existing doorway.
Care: The GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) skin is durable and requires minimal maintenance. Clean the door surface regularly with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents, which could damage the finish. Ensure the locking mechanism and hinges are periodically checked and lubricated according to the manufacturer's recommendations for smooth operation.
