The Clementoni Giant T-Rex Skull Dig Kit is designed for curious young explorers and budding paleontologists who enjoy hands-on STEM activities. By providing a realistic excavation experience, it allows children to uncover and assemble a detailed dinosaur skull while learning about Jurassic biology; however, parents should note that the excavation process creates a significant amount of plaster dust, so it is best performed on a protected surface.

This kit is intended for children interested in STEM activities, typically recommended for ages 7 and up.
Yes, it creates plaster dust. We recommend using a protective mat or performing the activity outdoors.
The tools are designed for children's use, but adult supervision is recommended during the chiseling process.
The kit includes a plaster block, a hammer, a chisel, and an illustrated educational manual.
The kit is designed for assembly, but once put together, it is best kept as a static display model.
Lightly dampen the surface of the block with a very small amount of water to soften the plaster, but avoid saturating it.
Ensure that all residual plaster has been thoroughly cleaned out of the grooves and slots of the components using a small brush or toothpick.
Before starting, ensure the workspace is well-ventilated and easy to clean. Keep a small cup of water nearby to lightly dampen the block; this can help reduce the amount of airborne dust generated during chiseling. After assembly, the T-Rex skull serves as a durable display piece. To maintain the model, keep it away from excessive moisture, which could soften the material. Store the tools in a dry area for future science projects.
