The KCT Lawn Edging (50 Metre) is designed for gardeners looking to maintain neat and defined borders around their garden features. Its primary benefit is its flexibility, allowing for creative shaping of pathways, flower beds, and decorative stone areas, while its main caveat is the initial stiffness that requires some preparation before use. This product offers a simple way to separate different garden zones and prevent grass encroachment.

It is recommended to leave the edging out of its packaging to relax. If it remains stiff, soaking it in warm water for about 5 minutes will make it much more pliable and easier to mold into your desired shape.
After softening the edging, position it along your desired line and use the included ground pegs to secure it firmly into the soil at regular intervals. Ensure pegs are fully inserted for stability.
While flexible, creating very sharp, 90-degree angles may require careful bending and additional pegs to maintain the shape. Gentle curves are more easily achieved.
The product comes with 200 ground pegs.
The edging has a height of 3.7cm.
The 3.7cm height is primarily for visual separation and preventing grass encroachment. It is not designed to retain significant amounts of soil or deep mulch.
A simple wipe down with a damp cloth is usually sufficient. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or chemicals that could damage the material.
Ensure the edging has been left out of its packaging to relax. If still stiff, soak it in warm water for 5 minutes before attempting to shape it.
Ensure ground pegs are fully inserted into the soil. Consider adding more pegs, especially on uneven ground or in windy locations. Check that the edging is positioned correctly against the soil.
Ensure the edging is installed with the top edge slightly above the soil line. For significant grass pressure, consider burying the edging slightly deeper or using additional pegs for support.
This can occur with extreme temperature fluctuations. Ensure adequate pegging to maintain shape. If warping is significant, consider if the material has been excessively heated or stressed during installation.
