Setup, Compatibility & Care
- Preparation: Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from loose debris. Remove any flaking paint or loose wood.
- Application: Use a putty knife to apply the wood filler, pressing firmly to ensure it fills the crack or hole. Overfill slightly to allow for sanding.
- Drying: Allow the filler to dry completely. Drying time will vary depending on the depth of the repair and environmental conditions (humidity, temperature).
- Sanding: Once dry, sand the filled area smooth with fine-grit sandpaper.
- Finishing: Paint or stain the area to match the surrounding surface.
*Compatibility*: The 151 Wood Filler is compatible with most paints and stains. Always test on a small, inconspicuous area first to ensure compatibility.
*Care*: Store the product in a cool, dry place. Ensure the lid is securely closed after each use to prevent drying out.
