No, this is a directional cable. It features an internal repeater that must be connected in the specified 'Source' to 'Display' orientation.
While it uses standard HDMI Type A connectors, it is specifically optimized for the signal requirements of Cisco Webex and Room systems.
The cable is 4Kp30 certified, ensuring reliable performance at this resolution.
No, the repeater is powered directly through the HDMI connection from the source device.
We do not recommend daisy-chaining HDMI cables, as this can lead to signal loss and handshake issues.
Verify that the cable is connected in the correct direction; swap the ends of the cable if necessary.
Ensure both HDMI connectors are fully inserted and that there is no tension pulling on the connector housing.
Check your source device settings to ensure it is outputting the intended 4K signal and verify the cable is not kinked or crimped.
For proper operation, ensure that the connector marked for the 'Source' is plugged into your laptop or input plate, and the 'Display' end is connected to the Cisco system input. The cable is fully compatible with HDMI 2.0 standards, making it backwards compatible with legacy HDMI hardware. When routing the cable through walls or furniture, avoid sharp bends or kinking, as this can damage the internal repeater circuitry. Ensure connectors are fully seated into their respective ports to maintain a secure physical link.
