FAQs
How do I choose the right firmness setting?
Consider your primary sleep position. Side sleepers often prefer softer to medium, while back and stomach sleepers may need medium to extra-firm for proper spinal alignment. Experiment with the different settings during your 100-night trial to find what feels best for your body.
What is the warranty period for the SixSense mattress?
The Brightr SixSense Adjustable Memory Foam Mattress comes with a 10-year limited warranty covering manufacturing defects.
Can I use an electric blanket with this mattress?
Yes, you can use an electric blanket. However, avoid placing heating pads directly on the mattress surface for extended periods, and always follow the electric blanket manufacturer's instructions.
What is the 100-night sleep trial?
The 100-night sleep trial allows you to test the mattress in your own home. If you are not satisfied within the first 100 nights, you can return it for a refund, subject to the terms and conditions of the trial.
How do I clean the mattress?
Spot clean with a mild detergent and a damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or submerging the mattress in water. It is recommended to use a mattress protector for daily care.
Is this mattress suitable for couples with different firmness preferences?
While the mattress offers adjustable firmness, it is a single unit. However, by choosing a firmness level that offers a good balance, or by discussing preferences, many couples find a setting that works for both. The dual-firmness core might offer some variation across the surface.
What are the dimensions of the Double size mattress?
The Brightr Sleep Brightr® SixSense Adjustable Mattress in Double size typically measures 135cm x 190cm (approx. 4ft 6in x 6ft 3in), but always check product specifications for exact measurements.
Troubleshooting
Mattress not fully expanding
Ensure the mattress has been allowed at least 48 hours to decompress after unpacking. Check that it is on a level surface and not under excessive weight during expansion.
Difficulty adjusting firmness
Refer to the instruction manual for the correct procedure for reconfiguring the internal layers. Ensure all layers are aligned properly before placing bedding.
Noticeable smell upon unpacking
This is a normal occurrence for new foam mattresses, often referred to as off-gassing. Allow the mattress to air out in a well-ventilated room for a few days; the smell should dissipate.
Uneven settling or sagging
Rotate the mattress head-to-foot every 3-6 months. If the issue persists, contact customer support as it might indicate a defect.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:

- Determine your preferred firmness level by following the included guide to reconfigure the internal layers. This typically involves flipping the comfort layer and arranging the support core.
- Place the mattress on a suitable bed base. Ensure the base provides adequate support and ventilation.
Compatibility:
- The SixSense mattress is compatible with most bed bases, including solid platform beds, slatted bases (with slats no more than 2-3 inches apart), and adjustable bed frames.
- Always ensure your bed frame is sturdy and can support the weight of the mattress and occupants.
Care:
- To clean, use a damp cloth with mild soap and water. Avoid harsh chemicals or soaking the mattress.
- Regularly rotate the mattress head-to-foot to ensure even wear.
- For deeper cleaning, consider using a mattress protector to guard against spills and stains.
- Do not remove the inner foam layers beyond the intended firmness adjustment process, as this may damage the mattress.
